Biju Panapuzha

Biju Panapuzha is a distinguished artist with over 25 years of experience in the art field, both in India and internationally. Renowned for his expertise in mural painting, he has contributed to the adornment of many prominent temples and cultural centers, including the prestigious Sripadmanabha Swami Kshetra in Trivandrum. Additionally, Biju has worked as the art director for over 40 films, including celebrated works such as Pazassiraja, Vadakkumnathan, and Nanpan.

Biju has actively participated in numerous national and state exhibitions and art camps organized by esteemed institutions like the Lalithakala Academy and Chitrakala Parishath. On the international stage, his work has been featured in exhibitions in Bangkok and Fusion Art-2023 at the Picasso Gallery in Dubai, organized by the Fusion Art Foundation. He has also held two solo exhibitions at the Lalita Kala Academy Art Gallery in New Delhi.

Throughout his career, Biju Panapuzha has received several prestigious awards, including the Kerala State Government Temple Art Award in 2018, the Golden Peacock Award in 2021, the Indo-Bangla International Award in 2021, and the Bharat Bhushan National Award in 2022. In addition to his artistic practice, he is also dedicated to sharing his knowledge by providing mural painting training at various institutes across India.
