Harlina finds solace in painting and has actively
participated in both local and international art shows for the past few years. She is much inspired by the abundance of nature and cultural influences around her and her interest in art started from a young age. It was further cultivated when she pursued architecture in the UK where
artistic approaches were always encouraged.
Harlina prefers to experiment with mixed media method which include acrylic, modelling paste, acquarelle and oil pastels in her artwork. This method gives her endless possibilities in capturing the impermanence and
permanence state of God’s creations. She also loves to explore the dynamic interactions between nature and the
built environment in her paintings.
