Fauzi Abdul Rahim was born on the 15th of January 1955 in Kelantan, Malaysia. He graduated with a Diploma in Art & Design from Institute Technology Mara in 1976, majoring in Graphic Design. He worked in several advertising agencies and later started his own advertising company called CLYX Kreatif San. Bhd, specializing in advertsing, publishing reputable coffee table books, calendars, and packaging designs. Fauzi Abdul Rahim enjoys photography as a pastime.
He left advertising several years ago to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time artist and focus on painting. In 2016, he won an ‘Incentive Award‘ in an ‘Open Show Art Exhibition’ held by Galeri Shah Alam. Currently, some of his paintings are placed and exhibited at several galleries including Bank Negara Malaysia Art Gallery, Sasana Kajang Numismatic & Art Gallery, University Malaya Art Gallery, Galeri Shah Alam, and in the collections of private collectors.
