Kv Jyothilal
Kv Jyothilal is a distinguished multidisciplinary artist and educator who graduated from Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikkara. With over 30 years of experience as a drawing teacher in various government schools across Kerala, he also contributed five years to the Kerala Education Department through SERT as a Core SRG in art education.
For the past four decades, Kv Jyothilal has been a prolific painter, sculptor, writer, cine artist, musician, and illustrator. Since the 1980s, he has exhibited his work in hundreds of exhibitions worldwide, gaining national and international acclaim.
As an accomplished author, he has published several notable works, including “Varachu Varachu Varachu Padikam,” “Kadathinte Adayalangal: A Study, Criticism, Experience,” “Yatra,” and “Hridaya Jalakam,” an anthology. His poems and articles have been featured in various Malayalam journals and newspapers. He is currently working on a new book.
Kv Jyothilal’s contributions have earned him numerous prestigious awards and recognitions, including the Kerala Lalitha Kala Akademi Fellowship. He continues to be a vital presence in the realms of art and literature, inspiring generations through his creativity and dedication.
