Col. Suresan V.P is a self-taught artist whose passion for art began in childhood and continued to flourish throughout his 36-year career in the Indian Army. A multifaceted creative, he has seamlessly transitioned from poet to illustrator to painter, each form enriching the other in his artistic journey.

Deeply inspired by his experiences in nature and interactions with people during his military service, Col. Suresan’s paintings are visual narratives that reflect the emotions of a solitary traveler navigating an unknown world. His works evoke a poetic rhythm—where colors and brushstrokes come together to explore themes of solitude, memory, and discovery, opening up a realm of emotional depth and creative possibility.

In addition to his writing and illustration, Col. Suresan has exhibited his paintings in numerous group exhibitions both in India and abroad. Notably, his work displayed at the Picasso Gallery in Dubai in 2023 earned him an International Award, marking a significant milestone in his artistic career.
